Rene' and Ben say goodnight to each other, and she walks home. The streets are empty, unusual for a Monday, but Rene's thoughts stray elsewhere. She wonders if she made the right choice of wanting to be turned, and is only now letting it sink in that this will be the last time she sees the night sky as a human. She looks up, but there are few stars, the city lights and pollution covering any chance of seeing the rest. As she looks at the sky, doubt and fear fill her mind, but she quickly dismisses it as anxiety. She can't, however, shake Ben's warning about how painful it's going to be from her mind.

Rene' wakes up on the Wolf's sofa. She feels his paw rest on her forehead, and a pleasant smile spreads itself across his face. "Good morning." he says, as he touches her cheek.
She returns his smile, "Hi..." she starts, but can't find the words to continue. She sits up and looks at the Wolf kneeling next to her. "What happened?" she asks.
The Wolf scratches the back of his head and a light laugh escapes his lips, "Well, you fainted, and I thought it best to let you rest here."
Rene' holds her forehead, trying to remember, "What about Zoe?" she asks.

"Fetch!" Jason shouts as he throws a ball for Nick, and he happily runs after it, barking with joy.
"You know, that is the biggest dog I've ever seen, what kind is he?" Zoe asks, watching Nick play with Jason.
"He's a Corgi mix." Raul answers, smoking a needlessly decorated pipe.
Zoe laughs, "With what, a horse or an elephant?"
Raul returns her laughter, and smiles, "Of course, weren't you aware of cross breeding dogs with horses?"
Zoe smiles, feeling far more comfortable than when she first arrived, though worry about Rene' still haunts her. She looks over and notices Eve quietly sitting on a park bench, and join
